Course Feedback – April 2011

Here’s a summary of feedback and comments from the latest Sugar NLP 2-day Introduction to NLP training.

What I enjoyed most about the programme content….

  • Pacing and chunking
  • The timeline exercise for changing beliefs
  • Visual elements, Pacing and Leading, 7 steps to achieving an outcome
  • The opportunity to put new skills learned into practise.
  • The rapport and the pacing. I thought this could be applied the most successfully with limited experience.

What I enjoyed most about the training……

  • The Practise elements and the demonstrations
  • The varied style seemed to reach all of the group and enable connection
  • Learning new techniques
  • Discussions and visual examples.
  • The activities and the other participants who were all friendly and interesting
  • Interactions with other members, ‘scenario’ workshops

What I will take away with me from this course?

  • Fantastic, worth trying and well run.
  • More tools in my toolbox
  • The 7 steps, resource triangle, Timeline, Pace..Pace..Pace.. Lead, to use for work and personally
  • Recognising states, questions to elicit detail or values to understand someone, 7 steps to goal setting and a changed belief
  • Really worthwhile
  • The ability to understand that emotions fuel decisions and the importance of relating a positive emotion to a problem.

What I would tell others about this course?

  • Go in with an open mind
  • Great if you have some developmental goals yourself in this area
  • To learn more about yourself and others and overcoming adversity. I encourage you to take this course.
  • It is worth looking into even if you are sceptical of self help systems.
  • Useful ideas and concepts.
