Here’s a summary of feedback and comments from the latest Sugar NLP 2-day Introduction to NLP training.
What I enjoyed most about the programme content….
- Pacing and chunking
- The timeline exercise for changing beliefs
- Visual elements, Pacing and Leading, 7 steps to achieving an outcome
- The opportunity to put new skills learned into practise.
- The rapport and the pacing. I thought this could be applied the most successfully with limited experience.
What I enjoyed most about the training……
- The Practise elements and the demonstrations
- The varied style seemed to reach all of the group and enable connection
- Learning new techniques
- Discussions and visual examples.
- The activities and the other participants who were all friendly and interesting
- Interactions with other members, ‘scenario’ workshops
What I will take away with me from this course?
- Fantastic, worth trying and well run.
- More tools in my toolbox
- The 7 steps, resource triangle, Timeline, Pace..Pace..Pace.. Lead, to use for work and personally
- Recognising states, questions to elicit detail or values to understand someone, 7 steps to goal setting and a changed belief
- Really worthwhile
- The ability to understand that emotions fuel decisions and the importance of relating a positive emotion to a problem.
What I would tell others about this course?
- Go in with an open mind
- Great if you have some developmental goals yourself in this area
- To learn more about yourself and others and overcoming adversity. I encourage you to take this course.
- It is worth looking into even if you are sceptical of self help systems.
- Useful ideas and concepts.
